Full Day #2: Good Evening, Baltimore!

Today was super fun, but we are all beat! We started out with another early morning and then went straight to the Supreme Court. Here are some pictures from that visit:
The Capitol Building!

Supreme Court!

A statue in front of the Supreme Court.

Josh and Eva being adorable in the West Conference Room.

Everyone looking up, because...

The chandeliers were gorgeous!

Jory, Jamie, and Jonathan enjoying the Supreme Court.

Michael Leach being that guy in the painting. :)

Claire doing her job and being the official photographer!

Rachel is a stern choir assistant! ;)

Eva, Rachel, and Ashley are adorable! Oh, and Alex in unintentionally photobombing.

Kevin being... Kevin.
After this, I went to the Library of Congress! Here are the pictures I took. This place is glorious!
View of part of upstairs from the lobby.

Rachel, Maddy, and I on the second level!

So beautiful!

Part of the staircase from the first level.

GIGANTIC.

One of the highlights for music kids- we got to see George and Ira Gershwin's piano!
After that, Rachel, Maddy, Sarah, Mason, Amanda, Ryan, and I went to the Holocaust Museum. It was HUGE (3 stories, woah) and really awesome. Unfortunately, I didn't get to take any pictures while we were there, but we learned a lot and had an awesome time. We also got to ride in a cab on the way there, and the driver thought we were nuts. :) After the museum, we took the Metro (that's right, public transportation that actually functions!) back to the Capitol Building. Here are a couple pictures from that adventure:
Metro Station!

Rachel and I were so excited that we decided to be touristy for a minute.
After all this, we drove to Baltimore, which is where we are now! We had an awesome concert with the Maryland State Boychoir, and now we're at our homestays. I believe it's about time for me to settle down and sleep (another early day tomorrow), so I'm out for the night. More pictures and adventures to come tomorrow!
Cheers,
Megan King
