Full Day #3: From Maryland to Pennsylvania

Hello loyal blog readers! We had a wonderful, busy day today! Last night, we stayed with our first of 3 homestays. My host family was super awesome! Once we got dropped off with our group, we headed to Baltimore Inner Harbor. Here are some pictures!
Picture as we were walking up toward the Harbor.

A view of downtown Baltimore from the Harbor.
While we were at the Harbor, John, Adrienne, Ryan, Michael, Andrew, Dr. Seighman, and I went to the National Aquarium. It was so awesome! Here are some pictures!

Calypso the sea turtle! She was so awesome!

LOVE turtles!

Electric eel!

Colorful anemones.
Adorable seahorse!

This guy was HUGE!

Can you spot the stonefish?

Lots of colorful fish!

Loved the color of this little guy!
The aquarium also had a rainforest area where we could see all sorts of animals. Unfortunately, I couldn't get a shot of the sloth or many of the awesome birds, but here are a couple pictures I did get.

Angry turtle we found in the rainforest area!
This little guy was sitting right next to us while we were learning about the types of animals that lived in the rainforest area!
After we went to this area, we saw a dolphin show (which I couldn't get any good pictures of at that time), and then we went to a jellyfish exhibit. Here are some pictures from there!
See those tiny specks? Those are teeny tiny jellyfish! So cute!

Some bigger jellyfish we saw at the exhibit.
After our day at the Harbor, we drove over to Doylestown, Pennsylvania, (about a 2.5 hour drive from Baltimore). We met up with students from Central Bucks West High School (Dr. Seighman's alma mater) and had dinner with them. After that, we performed in a concert together; we did 2 combined pieces. It was a lot of fun! Now, we're all at our second homestays. I love getting to meet local families and students at the schools we've visited. That's what we've been up to today. Tomorrow, we go to Princeton and Cranford, NJ, and Westminster Choir College for a choir clinic. Lots of fun things to come. Until then, wonderful readers!
Cheers,
Megan King
